Hello! Hola! Bonjour!

I have a passion for exploring the world. I love going to new places, meeting new people, learning about new cultures and experiencing life in a society that is different from my own. My passion led me to gaining an experience of studying outside of the US, not once but twice. The first time in Costa Rica in 2011 and the second in Spain in 2013. During these educational opportunities I worked on further developing my Spanish language skills intercultural competency. It was also through these experiences that I gained a deep appreciation for education and all the experience, knowledge and skills that it provides.

Another passion of mine is helping others and serving to meet the needs of those around me. My mission is to help people who are improvised and to reduce unemployment, along with addressing other important social issues.

How can both passions be accomplished at once? I will do both by starting a career utilizing skills in education, development, and international exchange. I am a currently a student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, pursuing degrees in Masters in International Education Management and Public Administration. It is here at MIIS where I can join my unique experience of interning for the Embassy in Asuncion, Paraguay along with experience working with young adults through substitute teaching into a career. I am particularly interested in creating programs that would provide opportunities for disadvantage youths to gain an intercultural and international experience through education abroad.
